Terms of Service
Effective date: 2 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and the independent developer who builds and runs Good Enough QR Menu ("we", "us", "our"). They cover the Good Enough QR Menu mobile app, the website at geqrmenu.com, and the menu pages and QR codes the service creates (together, "the service").
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Who can use the service
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you use the service for a business, you confirm that you're allowed to act on its behalf, and these terms apply to that business as well as to you.
Guests who simply view a menu don't need an account. Sections 6 and 7 still apply to them.
2. Your account
Give us accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date. Keep your password private, because you're responsible for anything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has access to it, change your password and tell us at support@geqrmenu.com.
3. What the service does
The service lets you build a menu in the app, publish it at a web address on geqrmenu.com, and generate QR codes and printable table cards that point to it. Changes you make in the app show up for guests straight away.
We're always improving the service, so features may change, be added or be removed. We'll try to give notice before removing anything important.
4. Price
The service is currently free. If we introduce paid plans or features in the future, we'll explain the price before you choose them. You'll never be charged without agreeing to it first.
5. Your menus and content
You own your content. The menus, descriptions, prices, links and other material you add stay yours.
You give us permission to use it to run the service. You allow us to store, copy, format and display your content, and to show it publicly at your menu link and QR code, including in search engine results while the menu is live. This permission covers only what's needed to provide, secure and improve the service. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies held briefly in backups or already stored by search engines.
You're responsible for what your menu says. That includes names, prices, availability, and any claims about ingredients, allergens, dietary suitability (for example "halal", "vegetarian" or "spicy"), portion sizes and offers. Guests may rely on this information, so keep it accurate. We don't check menu content, and we aren't part of any sale between you and your guests.
You need the right to use what you upload. Don't add content you don't have permission to use, such as another business's name, logo or menu.
6. Acceptable use
When using the service, you agree not to:
- publish anything illegal where you operate, or offer goods or services you're not allowed to sell,
- mislead guests, for example with fake prices or by pretending to be another business,
- post hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or violent content,
- add links to malware, phishing pages, scams or other harmful sites,
- collect other people's personal information through your menu without their permission,
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, including rate limits, or access accounts or data that aren't yours, or
- copy, scrape or resell the service, or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
We may remove content or links that break these rules.
7. QR codes and menu links
Each published menu has its own link, and your QR codes point to that link. A code keeps working for as long as the menu is published and your account is open. If you unpublish or delete the menu, it passes its expiry date, or your account is closed, the code will stop showing your menu.
Before printing in large quantities, scan a test copy to make sure it works. We're not responsible for printing or reprinting costs, or for codes that are printed too small, damaged, or placed where they can't be scanned.
8. Our service and brand
The app, the website, their design and code, and the Good Enough QR Menu name and logo belong to us. These terms don't give you any rights to them, apart from the right to use the service as described here.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time. To close your account and delete your data, follow the steps on our account deletion page.
We may suspend or close an account, or unpublish a menu, if it breaks these terms, puts other people or the service at risk, or if the law requires us to. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we ever shut down the service as a whole, we'll give owners at least 30 days' notice.
10. No guarantees
We work hard to keep the service running, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will always be available, free of errors or suitable for every purpose, and we may need to pause it for maintenance or repairs. Keep your own record of important menu information, such as prices.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded by agreement.
11. Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost sales, lost data or damage to reputation, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or PKR 10,000.
These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them, for example for losses caused by fraud.
12. Claims against us caused by your content
If someone brings a claim against us because of your menu content or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result, including legal fees.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we'll tell owners in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree with them, you can close your account.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If a dispute comes up, please contact us first, because most problems can be solved with an email. If we can't resolve it, the courts of Pakistan will have jurisdiction, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring the claim in your local courts.
15. General
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the service. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. You can't transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our agreement. We may transfer them if the service is transferred.
